Rapid Autopsy Program
Our lab takes part in the rapid autopsy program at Massachusetts General Hospital. The rapid autopsy procedure provides an opportunity to perform a broader exploration of the body for tumors, which are analyzed by our research team and collaborators. This program allows researchers to expand their breadth of knowledge on the biology of melanoma by providing them with access to tissue that would be otherwise unavailable. We are incredibly grateful to our patients and their families, who gift us with this unique opportunity.
